In the Land
In the land where people
can read each other’s thoughts,
everyone knows what a bad
and wicked person I am.
My daydreams play
like a big screen video before them.
My random and inappropriate thoughts
plastered on billboards.
Everyone has seen my dreams
where my dentist seduces me,
when I poison my boss,
how I float in a pool of men.
Everyone knows my thoughts
where I imagine him naked,
when I strangle my darling child,
how I wonder if my breasts look like udders.
From the land where people
can read each other’s thoughts
they know me too well
I have been banished.
